Research

My research focuses on safe and effective use of medicines in neonates to contribute to achieving health equity for Māori. Research I am involved in is able to be implemented by health care professionals to contribute to improved clinical practice and equitable health outcomes.

I am an advocate for diversity equity and inclusion within health education, and I ensure that research and teaching contributions have beneficial health impacts for underrepresented groups.

Student research

All prospective students (Summer Students, Honors, Masters, PhD) who are interested in research projects that are informed by clinical practice and community need, and will contribute to health equity in Aotearoa, are welcome to contact me to discuss collaboration.
