International teaching and industry experience
I am proud to be a multi-award winning business improvement advisor with in-depth experience in the manufacturing and logistics sector. My work spans the domains of digital systems, enterprise processes, and project management.
I won the New Zealand Top 50 CIO awards 2020 with the programme of innovation and productivity improvement I designed and delivered with my internal team and with international clients in the aviation industry.
I have led and implemented changes in technology and business processes in New Zealand and in Asia Pacific countries over the past decade. This includes coaching and training my teams in project management, operational excellence, problem solving and process improvement as an in-house subject-matter expert.
I have distilled my experience in productivity and innovation improvement in my book Power Up.
Why Christine enjoys teaching in the Otago MBA programme
Seeing the growth in the team and people I have worked with gives me goosebumps knowing my work has made a positive impact on their lives and their businesses.
I look forward to seeing the students I teach grow in their capability in Project Management and to fast-track their career with the new understanding and knowledge from the MBA programme.
What global perspective is reflected in Christine's teaching?
I will bring my experience and understanding of the cultural differences from working with global organisations and international clients to the MBA classroom.
