Kia ora koutou,

Do you support someone in your family or whānau who has high health needs e.g. a significant illness or disability? If you do (or if you have in the past), would you be willing to share your experience of being a ‘carer’ with a small group of (12-13) 2nd year medical students as part of their learning about how to support people with disabilities and the people (i.e. family and whānau members) who care for them? This would ideally be done in person at the Hunter Centre, but Zoom may be an option if you live outside Dunedin.

If you are interested in being involved or would like more information, please contact Mia Fa’alave (Module Administrator) by return email or phone Lis Heath (Module Convener) on 021 062 0068.
