Are you a New Zealand registered physiotherapist currently treating stroke survivors?

Shadow of man with walking stick and dogThis study aims to explore physiotherapists' perspectives about physical activity promotion and prescription for people with stroke.

Understanding physiotherapists' beliefs, approach, and factors that influence physical activity promotion will enable us to support physical activity messaging that meets the needs of stroke survivors.

Participating in the study

You may be able to participate if you are a New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist who is currently treating adult stroke survivors in any setting (e.g. inpatient or community).

Expressing interest in the study

If you are interested to participate you will:

  • Complete a short demographic questionnaire
  • Participate in an on-line Zoom or telephone interview (45-90 minutes duration)
  • Be asked to comment on the study findings if you wish.

Physical activity health messaging for men living with long-term conditions and disability
