Earthquake Photos
This photo collection was taken of the University of Otago, Christchurch's main building by Higgs Building between June and October 2011.
The photos show, floor by floor, repairs to the building, as well as sections of the building where walls have been opened up to check for unseen damage. The work is ongoing. Some photos show interior walls being removed. Others show where epoxy resin has been pumped into floors and walls to strengthen them. Stairwells are being demolished or taken apart and will be rebuilt to stronger new standards.
