Those considering postgraduate study at Otago are invited to information evenings in Christchurch and Wellington next week.

Following on from this week’s successful Postgraduate Open Day, Otago is holding postgraduate information evenings in Christchurch and Wellington next week.

The University will be hosting an open evening at the Christchurch campus on Tuesday 12 August at 5.30pm, and then the following night at the Rydges Hotel in Wellington, also at 5.30pm.

Postgraduate Marketing and Communications Coordinator Fiona Clarkson says the roadshow is an opportunity for potential students to have their questions answered in person and a way for the University to showcase the varying options it offers at postgraduate level.

The information events follow this week’s Open Day on the Dunedin campus, which was once again jam-packed.

The research poster competition run in association with the Open Day was won by Michelle Jospe, with her poster on Smartphone diet app use in sports nutrition. She won a $500 book voucher.

Highly commended prizes were awarded to Janine Tiu for her poster on Evaluating clinical molar preparations, and Julia Lewis for hers on Wairau Bar moa hunting.
