The OUCA has four new childcare centres under construction on Campus( Castle Street, North), opening April 2014.
Along with  Te Kaupapa ō Rōpu Tiaki Tamaiti (College Centre) which is already established at  137 Union Street East.

All children enrolled at the existing Nursery, Preschool and Fulltime Centres will transfer to the new centres.

The new centres will  collectively be known as Te Pā and they are:

Te Pārekereke o Te Kī a bilingual centre for children aged 0 - 5 years.
Te Maioha for children under 2 years
 • Te Puna  and Te Uru for children over 2 years

Nursery Centre

This centre provides care and education for children from birth to 2 years and has facilities for 23 children at any one time with a staffing ratio of 1 adult to 4 children.

Preschool

This centre provides education and care for children from 2 - 5 years and is licensed for 38 children with an enrolment of 34 aimed for, and a staffing ratio of 1 adult to 8 children. 20 hours ECE  childcare available.

Fulltime Centre

This centre provides education and childcare for 2 - 5 years and is licensed for 25 children. Staffing ratio is 1 adult to 7 children.
20 hours ECE  childcare available.

College Centre

This Centre provides care and education for children 0 - 5 years in a mixed age group setting with a maximum licensed number of 28 children at staffing ratios of 1:4 for infants and 1:10 for children over 2 years. 20 hours ECE childcare available.

Waiting Register

Includes our kawa, waiting register forms, fees schedule ...

For "Under 2" places you are advised to complete and return a waiting register form at the beginning of your pregnancy. Once we receive your waiting register form you will receive  a letter from the Nursery / College Centre outlining the enrolment process and availability of places.
