University of Otago Scholarships & Awards
In excess of $10,000,000 worth of scholarships and awards are available for students to study at the University of Otago. There are many scholarships and awards for study across all disciplines as well as a number of scholarships and awards for study within a specific discipline.
Undergraduate Scholarships and Awards
The University offers three main entrance scholarships for prospective students considering study at Otago. Leaders of Tomorrow scholarships for students who display all-round potential and leadership ability; Māori and Pacific Island Scholarships to encourage the progression of Māori and Pacific Islands students into tertiary study; and Alumni Annual Appeal Scholarships for students with a connection to the University of Otago. Please check back in March/April for the 2011 application form.

Postgraduate Scholarships and Awards
The main round for University of Otago Postgraduate Scholarships and Awards is now open for candidates seeking to engage in doctoral or research masters' degrees. Applications close on 2 November 2009.
Up to date application information will be available from August 2010.
