The Otago Daily Times reports that the swine flu outbreak will test new international health regulations.
In their interview with Associate Professor Michael Baker he says that outbreak will be a 'great test' for the regulations designed to counter flu pandemics and other global health threats.
The regulations constitute the most comprehensive global agreement ever developed for managing emerging human health hazards.
