Are you worried about how much screen time your child is accessing? Do you have screen time fights or even meltdowns when you take the phone, tablet, laptop or TV away?

Many time-poor working parents deal with these challenging parenting situations on a daily basis, and it can be very stressful to manage.

Parents and carers have many questions when it comes to screen time like: how much screen time is too much? Is time on social media and violent video games safe for children?

Webinar includes

  • Recommended guidelines for safe technology use by children aged baby to teenager
  • Physical, social and psychological harms of excessive or inappropriate screen time
  • Research on impact of violent games on children
  • Practical strategies to minimise the harms and maximise the benefits of technology
  • Question and answer session

By attending this session parents and carers will further their education and awareness of the potential harms of screen time and how to make the most of technology for all members of the family - baby to 18+ years.

Throughout the 12-month programme you will

  • Receive practical strategies on supporting family wellbeing and managing day-to-day parenting challenges on a range of common issues
  • Learn about research findings on wellbeing, parenting and child development;
