Otago Business School students have the opportunity to join the Shanghai Summer School programme from June 16 to 13 July 2019.
Six scholarship places are available (airfares not included).
Applications must be submitted by 5pm, Thursday 21 March 2019.
About the Shanghai Summer School programme
Every year, about 40 students from Oceania countries are chosen to attend the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE), to experience mutual exchanges with Chinese students.
It is a four week programme sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Government. The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, cultural activities, field trips and textbooks (but not flights).
The programme includes basic Chinese; lectures in business, economics, finance, business law and management; as well as cultural experiences and field trips with local students.
This programme has been running since 2011, and is a highlight in the educational journey of all participants.
