Undergraduate and postgraduate general paediatric training in South Africa, specialist paediatric oncology training in London (Royal Marsden and Great Ormond Street Hospitals).

Clinical interests include soft tissue sarcomas of childhood and retinoblastoma.

Research interests have included radionuclide scanning of paediatric malignancies.

Current research interest include clinical trial research and a clinical study of chid cancer in the South island.
