Approaches to integration, Māori education research initiatives, professional issues, legal, and ethical requirements for teachers. Students will maintain a class programme by planning, implementing and evaluating a class programme for a sustained period of time.
This 18 point year-long paper is a compulsory paper of the Bachelor of Teaching (BTchg) three year degree. It consolidates development of your culturally responsive pedagogy, and assists you in examining approaches to the integration of te reo me ngā tikanga Māori.
This paper also examines key professional issues related to professional experience, including the development of a personal philosophy, consideration of partnerships for learning, children's rights, and other legal and ethical requirements for those entering the profession.

- EDPR 331 comprises a mix of lectures, tutorials and professional experiences. The professional experiences are Tuesday visits, with a two week and a three week block.
