By the end of the DENT 533 students are expected to demonstrate the ability to:
- CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING: The paper will increase the visibility of Māori and Pacific contexts of health and oral health while also embracing values and perspectives of all cultures.
- ETHICS: Students will understand the importance of ethics in the process of engagement, health promotion and communication
- LIFELONG LEARNING: Students will develop knowledge and skills to convey key health messages and evaluate their effectiveness through the commitment to the on-going learning.
