- Explain what research is, and in particular what research is in the Health Informatics setting
- Describe the different types of study designs commonly employed in Digital Health research
- Describe the different types of data used in research and how they are collected
- Describe and explain the different types of errors encountered in research
- Perform basic statistical analysis of data collected during the course of research
- Make a critical appraisal of research articles using an appropriate framework
- Explain what qualitative research is and describe some of the methods it employs
