Students who successfully complete the paper will be able to:
- Critically analyse, evaluate and debate many of the diverse theoretical and epistemological paradigms relevant to Indigenous peoples
- Significantly engage with at least one of the theoretical/methodological paradigms presented in class to the degree of understanding that will allow the student to employ that theoretical/methodological paradigm as the underpinnings for their INGS 590 Research Report or relevant research project. That is, the student should be able to form a research question and build a methodology and theoretical framework inspired and guided by the study of theoretical/methodological paradigms learnt in INGS 501
