Overview
Understanding the workplace, workers and employers and using modern management techniques to reduce worksite injury and promote early return to work.
REHB 706 provides a strategic, evidence-based approach to promoting safe and effective return to work, making it ideal for health professionals looking to expand their knowledge of work rehabilitation. This course is particularly beneficial for ACC Case Managers and Vocational Rehabilitation Service providers.
The focus of this paper is not to produce vocational rehabilitation specialists, but to equip practitioners from various health and safety disciplines to be more effective members of multidisciplinary vocational rehabilitation teams or as independent care management advisers. It is also highly suitable for occupational health nurses and doctors interested in gaining a deeper understanding of work rehabilitation practices.
