Overview
Using examples drawn directly from practice, students apply rehabilitation and evaluation theory and research evidence, to propose and evaluate innovations or changes in rehabilitation service delivery.
REHB 710 equips students with the essential skills for effective service evaluation, design, and monitoring in rehabilitation settings. It covers how to accurately scope projects, use frameworks to lead teams, and collect and report information that directly addresses key questions. The course emphasizes designing and evaluating processes that align with te ao Māori and other worldviews.
By the end of the paper, students will have developed evidence-based skills for service evaluation, from initial design through to execution. They will complete the course with a template for a locally relevant service evaluation, meeting postgraduate standards for reporting and dissemination of findings.
