A special topic may be taught in either semester depending upon the level of student interest in an area not covered by other papers or when a visiting academic may be able to teach a particular area of expertise. Regular interaction with classmates and paper tutors via Zoom videoconferencing and the online learning platform, Moodle. Additional on-line events to support whakawhanaunatunga (establishing relationships), and skills development, within the broader Rehabilitation Teaching and Research Unit learning community.
