Overview
Builds on the theoretical knowledge acquired by students at 100-, 200- and 300-level. Supplements SOCI490.
The paper pays special emphasis on the application of this knowledge to contemporary social problems. Students will be asked to trouble their analytical lens, appreciate how social problems are part of the fabric of society and discuss ways by which they could be addressed.
