Students who successfully complete this paper will:
- Demonstrate an understanding of fundamental concepts and principles of culture, including the role of myths and legends in the development of cultural identity
- Generate insights into social, cultural and historical dimensions of cultural and subcultural groups within the Hispanic world
- Express self-awareness through critical reflections on the influence of myths and legends within your own culture
- Demonstrate an ability to acquire, organise, analyse and evaluate information, taking into consideration the principles of academic integrity
- Demonstrate an ability to critically analyse a broad range of cultural phenomenon through research, writing and small group discussion
