Overview
The issues which relate to the supervision and care of individuals involved in sport and recreational activities, with specific emphasis on the prevention and treatment of commonly encountered injuries to the upper limb.
SPME 707 and SPME 708 are papers in upper- and lower-limb injury management and assessment. These papers are intended for medical clinicians.
This paper concentrates on the more common overuse and acute injuries (largely those not requiring orthopaedic intervention) to the upper half of the body. It is designed to give you a practical guide to the assessment and management of these injuries.
