The issues which relate to the supervision and care of individuals involved in sport and recreational activities, with specific emphasis on the prevention and treatment of commonly encountered injuries to the lower limb.

- This paper concentrates on the more common overuse and acute injuries (largely those not requiring orthopaedic intervention) to the lower half of the body. It is designed to give you a practical guide to the assessment and management of these injuries.
