We are grateful to all New Zealand participants who have helped contribute to the international study on anorexia nervosa genetics which was recently published.
Some 500 New Zealanders were included in this study, which has helped identify genetic factors that predispose to anorexia nervosa.

Our future research
It is our intention to keep working with our international collaborators to build on this great success, and we are planning new studies on genetic factors that underlie anorexia nervosa and other eating disorders.
