Produce a Pop Song in One Week is an intensive music production crash course designed to bring together aspiring songwriters/performers and producers for a week of collaboration in a studio setting.
In this course, students will learn about pre-production, hook development, recording, mixing, and final mastering. The aim is to produce a 'pop' style song in just one week.
Through hands-on practice and expert guidance, students will gain experience in the skills needed to produce a track aligned with commercial music production standards. These skills can be built upon by studying music at Otago.
