Research

I work in Dr Joanna Williams' lab identifying biomarkers within plasma which may be predictive of neurological diseases like Alzheimer's.

Additional details

I am the curator of our blood archive (Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson and Control human participants). I have a lot of experience in the following methodologies: protein isolation, protein synthesis assays, Western blotting, genotyping, RNA isolation and qPCR miRNA/mRNA arrays, bioinformatics and statistical analyses.
