About Qin

I used to teach at a university in China for six years, serving as a lecturer. From 2019 to 2020, I also held the position of Director of the English Teaching and Research Office in my department. In this role, I identified numerous instructional challenges to improve teachers’ teaching, prompting me to shift my research focus towards teacher development. Beginning with the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework, to Knowledge, Awareness and Behavior Competence (KAB) framework. Based on this research, I have some notable teaching accomplishments.

Simultaneously, I also addressed the issues arising from the rapid advancement of technology impacting student communities, such as Information Security Awareness (ISA). Consequently, I have conducted relevant research in this area as well.

My previous research primarily employed mixed methods, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative approaches. This methodological framework allowed me to comprehensively explore educational phenomena, combining the depth of qualitative analysis with the breadth of quantitative data. Through this integrative approach, I gained nuanced insights into the complex dynamics of educational practices and effectively addressed research questions across diverse contexts.
