The University of Otago Legal Issue Centre (UOLIC) host an annual event in May or June each year on an access to justice topic. These are recorded and available through our YouTube channel.
The 2019 Public Event Explorations in Civil Justice – Is online Dispute Resolution Our Legal Future? featured online dispute resolution expert Katarina Palmgren, who surveyed global developments, and Michael Heron Q.C., who considered how civil lawyers might respond to an online future. This event was chaired by UOLIC Director Dr Bridgette Toy-Cronin.
