Background and interests
Dr Claudia Ott worked as a freelance software developer for a range of companies in Germany before she decided to undertake a PhD project in the area of Computer Science Education in 2011 at Otago University. In 2015 and 2016 she worked for Scott Technology in Dunedin as a vision systems engineer before she started a fixed-term lecturer position at the Computer Science department. In 2018 she joined the Information Science department.
Her research interests are based around education and learning analytics as well as the application of augmented and virtual reality.
