Scheduled Outage: University Firewall Change
Timeframe: Friday 8th December 2023, 6:00pm – Sunday 10th December 2023, 11:00pm
Services Affected: Internet access at all University sites and access to some University resources from offsite, including VPN services
Audience: All users of the University network
Description: There will be work carried out by ITS to swap out the University’s Internet firewalls. This work may cause an interruption to Internet service for all users, for a period of up to four hours on Friday night. There may be further, shorter interruptions across the weekend as further work on the firewalls is carried out.
