Avian influenza is evolving and presents a growing threat globally.

Te Niwha, the Infectious Diseases Research Platform, is hosting a webinar featuring avian influenza experts and leaders of a Te Niwha-funded research project on Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza.

As part of the ongoing work by Te Niwha and the range of project partners, this session will describe and discuss what developments in the virus mean for Aotearoa New Zealand and our future preparedness. The webinar will extend on the current research activities and ongoing initiatives, complementing numerous media interviews by our research leaders sharing their expertise and understanding.
