From 12 September 2023, the primary test for cervical screening (previously called a “smear” test) will change to a human papillomavirus (HPV) test, with the option of self-testing.
We will continue to send you a personal invitation to book an appointment with a nurse for your screening, based on your age and previous screening. If you think you are due for screening and have not received an invitation please contact us.
