The Pacific Islands Centre

Otago's Pacific Islands Centre is a little bit of the Pacific right in the middle of campus! The Pacific Islands Centre offers support to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Pacific Islands Research & Student Support Unit - Division of Health Sciences

The Pacific Islands Research & Student Support Unit (PIRSSU) currently looks after approximately 350 Pacific students from New Zealand and the Pacific region studying in the Division of Health Sciences.

Pacific at University of Otago Wellington

Pacific Students Enrolled at UOW study undergraduate programmes such as Medicine and Radiation Therapy, or undertake postgraduate research courses such as Masters and PhDs. We are here to help support our Pacific students enjoy their journey through University and succeed in their studies.

POPO Foundation Scholarship Programme- Division of Health Sciences

The University of Otago Foundation Year offers a POPO Foundation Scholarship Programme for New Zealand high school leavers of Pacific descent.

The POPO Foundation Scholarship Programme is a Health Sciences support programme for Pacific students studying the Foundation Year Health Sciences course at Otago in preparation for further studies at University in the Health Science First Year or other health related programmes.

HEDC Student Learning Development

HEDC Student Learning Development provides free and confidential academic support to students studying at Otago. Whether you are working hard to get a pass mark, seeking to gain a top result, or catching up after a break away from study, all students can benefit from their services.
