A research methods paper providing methods, analyses and ethics used in nursing research. Content will include quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Includes a clinically applied fieldwork component.
The paper aims to equip you with the skills that will provide the foundation for the subsequent project and the translation of research into clinical practice. Students will develop the knowledge and skills to critically evaluate qualitative, quantitative and mixed-research methodologies, evaluate and synthesise literature, and formulate a research proposal.

- Taught face-to-face on the Christchurch campus 2 - 2.5 hours per week throughout the first and second semester preparing students for clinical the two clinical placements in the first semester and one in the second semester.
