Joyce Guo (left) and Noeline Venter (right) were among 10 University of Otago students who were selected to present their health-related research alongside other summer students at the 248th scientific meeting of the Otago Medical School Research Society on 8 May 2019.
The titles of their talks were:
- Treatment escalation patterns in people with type 2 diabetes: a national follow-up study of new users of metformin monotherapy (Joyce Guo)
- Consideration of healthy food, beverage, and alcohol policy documents by New Zealand national sporting organisations (Noeline Venter)
