This conference seeks to bring the disciplines of Classics, ancient Judaism, and early Christianity together to investigate supernatural worlds, such as the underworld, heaven, or hell.

While these disciplines often operate independently, this conference intentionally seeks to examine the commonalities, links, and engagements between and across these fields. This conference will focus on the Classical, Jewish and early Christian worlds between 800 BCE and 400 AD .

Paper proposals should be interdisciplinary in keeping with the conference theme, ideally engaging with Classics, Judaism, and early Christianity.
