Constanza joined the Department of Public Health at the University of Otago Wellington as a Research Fellow in the Health Environment Infection Research Unit (HEIRU). She will be working on a joint initiative between HEIRU, SYMBIOTIC, and Co-Search that will evaluate, and make recommendations about, the role of an elimination strategy towards selected infectious diseases in the context of New Zealand.

In her prior role Constanza worked at Children's Hospital Los Angeles as a clinical research coordinator managing a portfolio of clinical trials in the Division of Infectious Diseases.

Constanza completed an MSc in Epidemiology at Imperial College London in 2018. Her research explored if varying special clustering of influenza vaccination changed the effectiveness of vaccination schemes.
