Role
Julie Cooper is part of the research team from the Health Environment & Infection Research Unit.
She is a field researcher and programme manager for projects within the team in the areas of Covid-19, END Rheumatic Heart Disease, Environmental Research, and Infectious Diseases.
Prior to this role she was a Research Assistant in the Centre for Translational Research supporting Clinical Trials.
Before her time at the University of Otago she worked in marketing related roles in the private sector, predominately financial services for 15 years from Research Manager to Product Management and Marketing Communications.
