Research interests and activities

With a background in political studies, Lydia is interested in how housing can be provided in Aotearoa New Zealand in a way that is equitable and supports both people and the environment.

She is particularly interested in the financialisation of housing, inequalities in home ownership and the housing economy, and how to build a sustainable and inclusive housing future.
