Academic Life at Aquinas College

Study is the main reason residents live in a College. Different programmes and events are run to help you with your studies, transition you to tertiary study, and to give you the opportunity to interact with faculty staff.

Studying in Common Room

Tutorials

Aquinas Tutorial

Tutorials are run every night at the College and these are run by mostly past-residents who have achieved excellent grades in the papers.

The tutorials are not compulsory, but if you want to succeed in your studies it is a good idea to attend the tutorials and use it as a chance to ask questions.

In addition to Aquinas tutorials, there are tutorials on Campus for most 100-level papers.

Faculty Evenings

Faculty staff are invited to evening nibbles and drinks with the students from their faculty at the College. This is a great chance to interact with your lecturers and tutors outside of the classroom.

Faculty Evenings are run at the beginning of the second semester.
