University staff and students can access library resources from anywhere (including the CDHB network) using their university username.

  • Login to Off-Campus Access to Resources
  • Access to online resources is made available solely for the purpose of teaching, academic research or private study by the individual.
  • Use for commercial purposes, paid or unpaid, including commercial research is not permitted.

If you aren't a University of Otago staff member or student but have a signed and authorised agreement to provide teaching, clinical supervision or research services to the University then you may be entitled to a username.

Will you be paid by the University of Otago?  Then you are considered University staff and your username will be automatically created (or renewed) as soon as your new contract is signed and your details are updated on the University payroll system.

If you have an honorary position and won't be paid by the University of Otago (even an emolument once or twice a year) please complete  the following form or contact your departmental administrator.

Note that University usernames expire on termination of course for students or on termination of employment for staff.
