Summer School 2013
Welcome to Otago Summer School
Otago Summer School provides an intimate learning experience, supplemented by the full resources of New Zealand's oldest and leading university.
With tuition provided at Dunedin, Auckland and Wellington sites, as well as by distance learning, Otago Summer School provides intense quality education.
Many papers are unique to Otago Summer School, while other papers are essential components of degree programmes. All papers have full academic credit and are of the same points value as regular semester papers, but are taught in six weeks instead of the 13 weeks of a regular semester. This concentrates the mind, and is particularly beneficial for studying.
Is it hard? Yes, universities are elite educational institutions, but with perseverance and application many people can achieve quite extraordinary results. For example, in recent Summer Schools a sixteen year-old has achieved an A+ and students in their 70s and 80s have frequently outperformed their younger classmates. It's entirely over to you.

Registering for Summer School 2013
Domestic students should register early
As in 2012, places for domestic students are subject to limitation. Students are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible from 1 August 2012. The earlier that completed registrations are received, the stronger your chance of gaining a place in the Summer School paper or papers of your choice.
