Dr Kirsten Stevens is the author of Australian Film Festivals:Audience, Place and Exhibition Culture (forthcoming 2016). Her work explores the development and operation of film festivals and related film culture activities in Australia, with a particular interest in interrogating how activities intersect with issues and practices in specialist cinema exhibition, distribution and reception.
