The University of Otago's Centre for Protein Research

The Centre for Protein Research (CPR) is a research facility for biological mass spectrometry that is supported by the Departments of Biochemistry and Microbiology & Immunology. We provide versatile workflows for (i) global and targeted quantitative proteomics (eg SWATH-MS, iTRAQ, SILAC, AQUA etc), (ii) the characterization of proteins and their post translational modifications, (iii) native and denaturing intact protein mass spectrometry as well as (iv) the analysis of metabolites and other small molecules. The CPR combines both a service facility and a user laboratory that supports research and student projects largely within the University of Otago. We also provide service analyses for external institutes throughout New Zealand.
