Research Interests

Dr Pippa Scott's field of research is infectious diseases with a focus on vaccine preventable diseases and bacterial pathogens.

She has previously been involved in randomised controlled trials, systematic reviews and mathematical modelling studies about topics including pneumococcal,  Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) and measles vaccines.

Dr Scott is currently investigating the transmission of Staphylococcus aureus in the community in New Zealand.

UOC Health Research Open Day Lecture

Pippa gave at 10 minute presentation at the UOC Health Research Open Day in September 2016.
