Jo trained at Southampton University and came to NZ in 1994, becoming a psychiatry registrar in Christchurch, then a consultant in 2003 and a member of the Faculty of POA in 2004.
Jo is working as a consultant at The Princess Margaret Hospital and Burwood Hospital. For the past few years she has been coordinating the training of POA advanced trainees in the South Island.
