Brian Trott is the Chief Financial Officer for the University of Otago and took up the role on 6 June 2023.
Prior to joining the university, Brian was the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of Universal College of Learning |Te Pūkenga, in Palmerston North. He is a Chartered Accountant and has over 25 years of experience working across local and central government, engineering and petrolchemical sectors along with a number of years in public practice.
Brian has a keen interest in military history and enjoys gaming, being with family and friends and relaxing at one of Dunedin’s many beautiful beaches.
