Overview
Sanskrit is the language of many of the sacred texts of both Hindus and Buddhists. Sanskrit was also the language of secular learning and culture in India. Classical Sanskrit literature includes many novels, plays, poems and other works which were produced over a period of more than a millennium.
There are two Sanskrit papers which may be credited towards a minor in Buddhist Studies:
