Principal Investigator Dr Anitra Carr gave an invited oral presentation at the Kate Sheppard U3A group in Christchurch on Vitamin C for the prevention and treatment of disease.
Organiser Keith Nuttall thanked Dr Carr, saying they thoroughly enjoyed her talk.
“It was the biggest attendance (around 150-160 people) we have had for a long time and there was a real “buzz” afterwards.”
Donations were collected at the event for the Canterbury Medical Research Foundation.
Upcoming public lecture on vitamin C
Dr Anitra Carr will be giving another public lecture about vitamin C with Associate Professor Gabi Dachs at the UOC Health Lecture Series on Tuesday 2 May 2017 at 7.00pm.
