Student Workshop Programme

Our workshops are great for finding out what is expected of you at all levels of university study. These workshops are interactive, informal sessions, which are designed to help you discover new techniques and skills to support your study.

Whether you are an undergraduate or postgraduate student studying on campus or at a distance, we have a wide range of workshops on offer. If you are a distance student and a workshop is not offered via Zoom, you are welcome to make a one-to-one appointment with the workshop facilitator. Email hedc.studentlearning@otago.ac.nz for details.

Attend a workshop

If you are a Christchurch postgraduate student, you will be emailed the details of all Christchurch workshops at the start of each semester. A reminder will be sent a few days before each workshop.

If you are a student at the University of Otago Wellington Medical School campus, you are encouraged to attend any of the Dunedin campus workshops via Zoom. Enquiries and requests for any additional workshop topics for Wellington-based students can be made to HEDC's, Dr Ruth Toumu'a, at the UOW campus: ruth.toumua@otago.ac.nz

Workshops for undergraduate students on the Invercargill campus will be promoted using posters, newsletters, the College of Education Invercargill Campus Facebook page and the student email system.

For any questions about our workshop programmes, please email hedc.studentlearning@otago.ac.nz
